Review: Innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse in #3 and #7

Hello everyone~!

Like I promised, I finally have an actual makeup product review! I've had this post in my drafts for....quite awhile to be honest. >.< I just haven't had the time to write the actual post! But I finally told myself to stop with the procrastinating and just write the post already, so let's just get into the review!

Anjolee - The Art of Jewelry Review

*Featured product was provided for review but opinions are 100% honest

{Wow I haven't posted a selfie of myself on this blog in awhile~}

Hello everyone! I hope you guys had an amazing Thanksgiving break with your loved ones. ^_^ I spent mine in my University and surprisingly, I did not eat one bite of that darn special American delicacy, the turkey. (My thanksgiving meal actually consisted of pizza, breadsticks, and smores hot chocolate~ hehe). I also hope you guys scored BIG during Black Friday and Cyber Monday! I bought quite a few things myself! (Let's give my empty wallet a moment of silence doe.../cries). I hope to do a Black Friday/Cyber Monday haul for you guys, but I'm not too sure if I'll be able to post it anytime soon. Unfortunately when Black Friday passes, that means I'm one week away from Finals. :( I have a whole bunch of essays to do still...ahhh...this college life though is a pain.

But, I'm spending a bit of today to focus on my forgotten blog. I'm actually super excited to share this post with you guys! A few weeks ago, a company emailed me asking if I'd be interested in working with them. As a blogger who hasn't posted as frequently as before and who hasn't had time to focus on their blog as much, I was surprised I even got emails from shops asking for some collaborations! Of course I emailed back saying I'd love to work with them. So without further ado...let me introduce you to: Anjolee!

Manicure of the Week: I Choose You~ Pikachu!

Hey guys!!!

I've been gone for awhile. Gomen ne! Midterms just passed and Finals season is coming up. Thankfully, I only have 1 actual final for Japanese, but I have a bunch of presentations and papers to work on for my other classes. =_= Dang this college life!

But anyway, I have another manicure to show you guys~ This time featuring PIKACHUUUU!

Pika Pika~

More specifically, I used these nail decals~

{buy here for $2.56}

Close ups of the nail decals:

I find these nail decals to be so ADORABLE!! If you guys did not know...I love Pokemon. Since the very beginning, I think I've played almost every single Pokemon game out there (excluding those random Pokemon puzzle games... =.=). My favorite right now is Pokemon White of course. ^_^ (I might consider getting Pokemon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire...but I'm not too sure yet~)

What I really loved about these nail decals is how easy and simple it was to put on. Usually I have a struggle coming up with cute nail designs and these decals just made my Manicure struggles so much easier. What you do is cut them to fit your natural nail, soak them in water, and transfer them to your nails! They're pretty much like temporary tattoos for your nails

There were some drawbacks concerning these decals though. 1) They are quite big...If you have tiny nails like mine, you'd have to cut and maneuver Pikachu's face so it'll fit on your nail. 2) Be careful when you soak them in water and put them on your nail. It dries and transfers fairly quickly. 3) Remember to use a top coat! Without one, it'll chip really easily. :/

But other than that....I really loved this manicure and these decals! I'd definitely order them again. :) There are many designs to choose from on BornPrettyStore...so I might order a bunch later on and try them all~ x3

Close ups of the actual manicure:
(I apologize... >.< I did not have good lighting when I first created the manicure so some of Pikachu is chipped off in these photos)

So that's it for this post!

I promise, the next post will be an actual makeup product review! <3 (Or a personal post..I have plenty to tell you guys!)

Manicure of the Week: Purple, Gold, and White!

Good afternoon everyone!

I'm going to skip the apologies on this post, because I bet you are all tired of hearing me say "I'm sorry" for not updating often. (it seriously sucks though....)

So I have a Manicure of the Week to show you all today!

When I first started painting my nails, I had no clue what exactly I wanted as a design. All I knew was I wanted something "Fall" like~ I realized too late however, that I don't actually have any Fall nail polish colors.....so I settled with the a simple Purple. When I painted my nails purple though, I wanted something else on my nails. Something that would make my manicure POP. So I decided on using Gold~

Lucky for me, I received a nice little package from Born Pretty Store, which helped me come up with the design for this week!

Born Pretty Store specializes in selling nail art products, as well as makeup, jewelry and accessoriesThey have a variety of different products to choose from and all of the products sold are super cute and cheap! And most importantly....they offer Free Shipping Worldwide.

So they sent me this really handy dandy French Nail Tip Guide and I thought, this week, I'll just use them!

The great thing about this little guy is that it comes with 3 different type stickers!

1: is simple "V" shape
2: is more complex "V" with waves coming out from either side.
3: is the simple Round French Manicure guide!

I for one, never used stickers as guides because 1) I'm lazy,  2) I found it so complicated and 3) I'm lazy. But because I had 4 hours of free time (woooo) I thought to myself, "why not?"

I ended up really loving my manicure in the end, despite the fact that I've never used nail guide stickers before! They were really easy and simple to use as well!

Here's an example for my ring finger design! All I had to do was paint 2 coats of white polish on my nails, wait for that to dry and apply 2 of the "V" shaped nail stickers and paint my nail over with purple polish

I used the 3 different type of stickers on my nails!

My Ring with the "V" shaped sticker
My Middle with the Round French Manicure sticker
and My Pointer with the "V" wave type sticker!

Overall guys...I really loved making my manicure this week! It was definitely something different for me, but it turned out quite well. :) The stickers really made my design work out~ So yaey~!

And that's all for today's post!

I'll be announcing the winners of my BLOGIVERSARY giveaway on SUNDAY (October 12)!
Thank you guys so much again for participating! <3

I'll have more giveaways in the future, but as of now, expect some more Manicure posts, a lippie review, and an Update of my Life post coming up this month!

Manicure of the Week: I Ain't no Hollagraphic Girl~!

Long time no see~!

Wow...I feel like I've been away from my blog for years, but it's actually been just a month!

I hope you all have been doing great while I was away!!! Please don't hesitate to tell me all about your lives this past month since my absence~ :3 I'd love love love to hear from you all!

As for me, for all those who didn't know, I did start my second year of college last week which explains my short little hiatus here this past month. And let me tell you guys right now, this year....I am going to be VERY busy.
So...so....so...so....busy.

Seriously...its just been 2 weeks or so here on campus and I am already dying. But it's alright guys! I swear I will not forget about this blog anytime soon. Just please be understanding that I won't be able to update as often as I'd like to. But I will make it at least 1 post a month!
But anyway, I'll do a more detailed update on my life later on this month.

Today's post focuses on one of my favorite things in life~

Manicureeeeees~

Getting a manicure, especially if I'm the one doing it, is something that I really like to do. It destresses me a lot~ So don't be surprised if you see a bunch of Manicure posts coming your way~

The one thing that I love about this particular manicure is how simple yet eye catching it is.
The main aspect that makes the pink in this manicure work is the Holographic accent on the bottom of each nail.

I've always liked holographic sort of designs because whenever I see them, they take me to a new world; a new bright and colorful sort of world. Especially when it catches the sunlight~

I used this little guy to make my very simple, but eye catching manicure!

You can buy it {HERE} for $2.98!!!

I love how small the accents are. It gives for easier control and easier placement when putting on each nail.  I also love how much accents this little container has~ I can create so so so many looks using this product so I definitely give this holographic design package a big plus plus plus in my view!

And that's it for my manicure for this week!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post after my little hiatus!!!

Please stay tuned for my Life Update, and makeup reviews of products I received over the summer!

Goodnight my loves!

Until next time,

Swap Meet Fashion Haul~!

Hello my sweet lovely gumdrops~!

I'm in a sweet mood right now. Don't ask me why though because I have no clue either~ ^_^ But I'm excited to share with you this blog post because it's my first Fashion post on this blog!!

So this past weekend, I visited my local Swap Meet to find cheap little Hawaiian trinkets to give to my college buddies before I leave tomorrow!!! ^_^ If you don't know, Swap Meet is just an event of a sort where people around the island sell items to each other for cheap prices. I used to always love going to Swap Meet with my mom when I was younger. We stopped going as we grew older. {Which is a good thing because my family are PACK RATS =_=} But there are always some booths that tend to have really good deals and cute items! So I'm excited to share with you what I bought!

***Please note that this is my first time showing off my body. >.< I've always been afraid of showing fashion posts too because I have no fashion sense whatsoever and I'm too embarrassed to ask people to take my outfit posts for me. So anyone who does OOTD posts of some sort, leave me some tips down below in the comments!! ^_^

Late Night Musings #1

hello my sleepy bunnies!
{it's currently 12:32am for me!}

I apologize for the lack of blog posts. I just haven't had any inspiration to blog recently. But I swear, my Hyuna Red Inspired Makeup Tutorial will be up by Sunday. I took the pictures and everything last week... >.< I just didn't feel like writing the post. I'm such a horrible #bblogger.

But anyway...tonight I just felt like making a really quick blog post for you guys about the mumble jumble thoughts going on in my head. Once the moon rises to the sky and darkness takes over, my mind tends to wander more than usual, hence the title of this post: Late Night Musings. {I really love the word muse by the way. ^_^ It just gives me the happys~} After my 1 year anniversary on blogger, I promised myself that I would make my blog not only about beauty, but of my personal life as well. I like using this blog to reflect on my experiences in life so far. It sorts out what I've done in my life and what I need to do in the future.

Late Night Musings is going to be the start of a series on my blog where I just write about some of the thoughts that pop up in my head during well...the late night! It could be about anything ranging from...homework, to family, to friends, or even to hobbies. But don't be surprised if the topic starts to jump around as you read the blog post. My mind wanders a lot especially at night and sometimes never focuses on one specific thing. Plus it's bedtime. I probably had a busy day and if I don't make sense in some of my sentences than...well...I need my sleep. Huehuehue

If you'd like to read my first Late Night Musings post, please keep reading!  {If not...it's fine. :3 These personal lifestyle posts are mainly just for me anyway~}

July 2014 Favorites~!

hello hello!

I can not believe July is over and August is already upon us. Eep~ in 2 weeks or so, I'll be back at my second home!! Seriously...my R.A friends have been posting pictures of the incoming freshies this year and I'm just super excited to meet them all and start my 2nd year in college!

But enough of that, let's just go into my July Favorites for 2014!  It's quite short, only 3 products, but really awesome products nonetheless!

Urban Decay Naked Palette

I had this palette for...quite a while and I absolutely love it. I rediscovered it this month and found my new favorite Everyday Makeup with this palette. I mainly use the 4 shades; Sidecar for an all over lid color, Smog for the outer-v of my lid for more dimension, Darkhorse for my lower lash line, and the holy-grail Half Baked for highlighting my inner eye corner. I love the combination of those 4 gold-infused eyeshadow colors and I think it makes a perfect everyday gold smokey eye. I used those 4 eyeshadows for the entire month in July and I will definitely use the shades again this month in August!

Rimmel London Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer in 245 Light

I purchased this concealer on whim about 2 months ago after I heard decent reviews of this little guy. But honestly when I first used it in the beginning of June I hated it because it was too pink-toned on my yellow-toned skin. However, I picked it up again this month when I was running late and had to cover my dark circles quickly. It worked like magic and after blending it thoroughly, it adapted to my skin tone nicely. If you look closely of course, you can see that it's slightly an off color, but it covers up my imperfections nicely and doesn't cake on me throughout the day

Palladio Oil-Absorbing Rice Powder in Warm Beige

I stole this powder from my sister in the beginning of this month. It's a pretty decent powder for me~ Rice, as many probably know, is a great natural skincare remedy that helps the skin look and feel smoother and clearer. This powder does give me that beautiful airbrush finish that I like and it controls my oil for a good 5 hours before my nose gets oily once more. It hasn't caked on me yet and is lightweight. The only bad thing for me about this product is it's super messy to apply

So that's all my July Favorites for 2014! Thank you guys! And I'll see you soon with an impromptu Hyuna Red Inspired Makeup Tutorial!! <3

Until next time,
